what are the laws/requirements for makeup/hair freelance in hawaii?

i'm already a licensed cosmotologist but was thinking of doing part time freelance for weddings etc.....just wanted to know if i could have an assistant to do makeup but she doesn't have a license...just wanted to know the rules and laws in hawaii for that!

1. I believe that for any state in the U.S. any assistant also has to either have their cosmetology license or an aesthetician license. I don't think there would actually be any problem unless someone asked to see her license.
