1. I'm not sure what you're trying to ask. Weddings in Hawaii are ghastly expensive, compared to the cost of weddings in the United States. First off, everything is "doubled" that of typical mainland costs. Once, I was flown to a corporate shindig at the Ritz-Carlton at Kapalua, Maui........we had to rent a tuxedo for ONE NIGHT and paid $150 for the tux rental. Here in the mainland (Northern California), I could have almost BOUGHT that tux on sale at Men's Wearhouse for just $100 more. That same tux rents for $75 to $100 here in the US mainland. Consider this, the price of a home in Hawaii will set you back $500,000......for a crappy dump! Photographers, ministers, DJs, musicians..........all have to pay the high cost of living. Hence, look at the index for your area and multiply by 2x (1.5x the cost of NYC, SF, LA).
