- They have laws you should look into you cant set up chairs or play music in the beach. If your ok with that then that's the cheapest way to go I'm getting married at the Married in Maui in Sept and it was the cheapest and nicest too.good luck
- Depends on where in Hawaii. What island? Kauai: Tunnels (Makua) Beach. http://www.kauaiexplorer.com/kauai_beaches/tunnels_beach.php Or: http://www.kauaiexplorer.com/kauai_beaches/lumahai_beach.php Made famous from the movie, South Pacific.. Oahu: Waimanalo Beach. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waimanalo_Beach,_Hawaii Very quiet and uncrowded for Oahu. Maui: Makena, for sunsets. http://www.mauibeachguide.com/Big_Beach.html Ka'anapali is too busy. But for a real treat, try the village of Hana....and the local beach Hamoa, my favorite. Located back in Hana...a trek, but well worth doing this is an area that is remote and the Hawaii was 60 years ago. Very romantic. Extremely quiet. Very lush and tropical. The beach is partially shaded with almond trees....and there is a pavillion for events. You can also rent beachfront bungalows here in Hana for $125-$150 per night. http://www.mauibeachguide.com/Hamoa_Beach.html Nearer Lahaina, try Ukumehame Beach: Very quiet, although near busy road...but there are very nice places here with plenty of parking... http://www.mauibeachguide.com/Ukumehame_Beach_Park.html Cutting Costs. Ideas of budget? Rent a house. Houses are readily available. Check out: http://hanaalii.com/ for houses in Hana. or for other areas, check out http://www.donnachameleon.com/ Houses offer costs well below hotels. You also benefit from fixing your own dinner (being that they come with kitchens), saving you a ton in having to eat out all the time. Hit the Costco and Walmart when you hit the island and stock up. Have fun!
- Paradise Cove in Ko"Olina on Oahu is beautiful. We are renewing there next year =) I think the web site is www.Paradisecove.com Prices are pretty reasonable. If you need a cake, I do cakes! www.CakesByAnAngel.com
- My husband and I got married on the beach on Oahu - we went through the wedding planning services at http://www.wedaloha.com. They do renewals as well, and have packages for every budget. They are amazingly helpful and friendly, and the photos they took were phenomenal. And they offer several suggested locations on their website or by phone, all of which are beautiful depending on your preferences (or pick your own, they will travel to you on the same island!). Can't recommend them highly enough!
