Is there anyone that lives in Maui, Hawaii.........?
Is there anyone that lives in Maui that knows where my fiance and I can go to have a civil marriage ceremony? We only want to get married by a judge or justice of the peace, not have some big ceremony. I know we have to find a marriage license agent first. Does applying for a marriage license have a long wait? Hours, days, weeks? We will only be there for one week.

- sorry i dunno, but my twiced removed 2nd aunt lives in makeno, maui
- You usually have to be a resident for at least 30 days before you can marry, except in Nevada. You can do a search for Hawaii weddings and look it up. That's how we got started when we decided to marry in Vegas.
- You can be married by a judge at the courthouse in Lahaina. Links to lots of info about Hawaii weddings is at http://www.mauihawaii.org/wedding-honeymoon/hawaii-weddings.htm There is no such thing as a twice removed Aunt. Only cousins can be "removed" which means they are in a different generation.
