Gay/Lesbian Marriage?

Is gay/lesbian marriage legal in Hawaii?

Public Comments

  1. Nope, only in Massachusetts, and civil unions are only legal in Vermont and one other state now that they've passed that law...
  2. Its called "heena wakka wakka do hei da keweal a"
  3. I don't know, but I think it should be legal everywhere........ Heterosexual here........
  4. Live and let live. Doesn't affect me. Gay divorces will be as interesting as straight divorces. OK, maybe there will be more equality.....as if that is a problem!!!
  5. DO KNOW AND I HOPE NOT,DO NOT BELIEVE ITS RIGHT
  6. I know what your question means, but how it sounds is this. Is a gay guy marrying a lesbian legal in Hawaii. In that case, yes it is. And that gives you an idea of just how stupid this whole tempest is. If a gay guy and a lesbian woman decided to marry, even if there was no idea of having sex at all, the relationship would be legal and it would be something the state would grant tax benefits to and would allow legal rights too -- so if one were sick or injured the other would have the right to allow treatment. However, if two men in love or two women in love wanted the same -- it ain't legal and it ain't allowed. Ah well, and this from an institution (marriage) which historically has been more about keeping money in families and cementing political alliances than about anything to do with love.
