What are the marriage laws in Hawaii if you live in the States?
Never been out of the country before, Do I need a passport to go to Hawaii?

- No... Hawaii is part of the U.S.
- Hawaii is the 50th state. So how is flying to it going out of the country? Contrary to belief they actually do use US money, have US post offices that do deliver the mail by a vehicle, have US Federal offices, a Governor, have Senators, etc...
- I think if you look you will see that Hawaii was admitted as a state back in the early 1960's as was Alaska. now to answer your question I think this will answer your question: http://usmarriagelaws.com/search/united_states/teen_marriage_laws/index.shtml You do need a passport to board an airline after Dec. 31 for domestic flights however. The rules are getting more restrictive. I believe all you need is a photo ID for flights inside the USA but best check and be sure. I guess I stand corrected part way anyway....they have extended the passport requirement until summer of 2008 but it is a good idea to get one any way because it is coming that to board any aircraft it will require a passport...and it will be the same to travel into and from Mexico by ground as well...the extension was due to the huge numbers of people living along the Mexico border that have applied for passports. It was going to be required on Jan 1 2008 but they have since pushed it back to June as I recall from the local news here along the border with Mexico.
- "Pinelake" is misinformed. You do NOT need a passport to fly within the United states now and will not in the future. You can fly anywhere in the 48 contiguous states, and Alsaka, and Hawaii and any U.S. territory WITHOUT a passport.
- don't you know your geography especially the 50 states????? Hawaii is part of the U.S. and don't need a passport to flight between each of the states. gee what a concept
